![]() To provide a more natural, expressive annotation experience, forScore increases the width of your markings based on several factors. Touch drawing will remain enabled until the next time you touch the screen with Apple Pencil. If your Pencil is out of reach or out of power, tap the hand icon in the center of the annotation control toolbar to re-enable touch drawing. Instead, forScore disables drawing if Apple Pencil has touched the screen at any point within the last 15 minutes. With forScore 10.5 this setting was changed to no longer depend on how annotation mode is activated. This is intended to allow you to annotate with your finger even when Apple Pencil is connected but out of reach. If you activate annotation mode using any other method, like the default tap and hold gesture, forScore will recognize finger input as it normally does. If you’re using forScore versions 10.0-10.4.9, this setting only applies when you’ve entered annotation mode by touching the Pencil to the page (see Live Annotations above). Version 10.0 introduced a setting called “prevent finger drawing” that allows you to use your fingers to do things like change tools or zoom in on the page, but only allows Apple Pencil to draw or place stamps and shapes. As long as Apple Pencil is near the screen, annotation remains active and your changes are not saved until you move the pencil tip farther away. On iPads that support Apple Pencil hover detection, forScore also uses proximity to determine when you’re finished annotating. This setting’s options are “short” (a very quick delay), “long” (a slightly longer pause), or “never” (annotation mode stays active until you explicitly save or cancel your changes, annotation controls appear normally). This setting allows you to start drawing with Apple Pencil, but does not show the annotation toolbar and automatically saves your work and returns to the normal viewing mode after a delay. ![]() Version 10.1 added another setting, called “automatically exit annotation mode” that works in conjunction with the “automatically enter annotation mode” option. Or, if you prefer, simply set a default drawing tool that will always be active every time you start annotating. ![]() With forScore 9.4 or newer, additional settings allow you to control how this works: check and uncheck tool types to either allow them to be saved between annotation sessions or not. Use the “automatically enter annotation mode” option in the Apple Pencil section of forScore’s settings panel to toggle this behavior.īecause forScore remembers which drawing preset or tool you were using the last time you annotated, and because Live Annotation starts immediately, it can get confusing to keep track of exactly what will happen when you begin drawing with Apple Pencil. Version 9.3 added the ability to annotate by simply drawing on the page with Apple Pencil (removing the need to activate annotation mode first). The features and settings described below apply to all three styluses, except where noted. Apple also worked with Logitech to create the Crayon stylus which is, in Apple’s words, “built using Apple Pencil technology” and functions similarly. The upgraded stylus works with iPad Pro models made since that time, as well as the latest iPad Air and iPad mini.Apple Pencil is great for annotating and more, and we’ve optimized forScore to give you the best possible performance while also providing a number of highly customizable settings to ensure that every user can work as naturally as possible.Īs of November 2018, Apple has released two versions of Apple Pencil, each compatible with different iPad models. ![]() In 2018, the second-gen Apple Pencil came out. The original Apple Pencil debuted in 2015, and it works with some basic iPad and iPad mini models, as well as older iPad Pro versions. Or, if you have an older iPad, it might not be compatible with any Apple stylus. There are two models, and each works with one group of iPads but not the other. If the Apple Pencil is new (or new to you) and it won’t work with your iPad, that could be because it’s incompatible.

"The breakup was even worse - people dig and dig and dig at you constantly. "So many people called my relationship toxic or they would tell me my ex wouldn't be into me, so I started believing that and getting insecure with it," they said. They said the constant comments and assumptions eventually end up killing the relationship because of the insecurities they create. "Having people constantly weigh in on your relationship - it just doesn't work." "This is the hardest thing I've ever dealt with online," Paytas told Insider about having a relationship on YouTube. ![]() "No one should judge anyone on how they deal and process their feelings." "There will always be ups and downs in life, it's how we deal with the downs that makes our ups that much more glorious," they said. Paytas can look back at videos six months ago to see how much their life has improved, they said. "The best part about recording myself at my lowest, is I always come out of the darkness and I can show others, as well as myself, it always gets better." "We all are just trying to survive and the more we are open and talk about our struggles, the more other people will feel comforted and feel it's OK and they will get through the day, the week, the year as well," Paytas said. Even though some call them "crazy" or diagnose them with mental illnesses. They said they sometimes feel "so alone," so putting themself out there in such a "raw" way helps them connect to the hundreds of others who are going through the same thing. "I know now there are people out there who get exactly what I'm thinking, feeling, etc, even if my own IRL friends and family don't get it." "Some people say I overshare but it's the only place I truly feel heard," they said. When Insider asked whether talking to their subscribers through the camera helps them work through what they are feeling, Paytas said "absolutely!" However, in January 2021, Paytas and Dawson's relationship fell apart, after Paytas feuded with Dawson's close friend Jeffree Star. "Before that, I was about getting my face out on mainstream media wherever I could." "I think everyone was weirded out by me but once I got the co-sign from Shane, more people were open to getting to know me and collabing with me and that meant a lot," they said. Once Dawson told people about Paytas, it opened up the doors to grow their following, they said. "He had this big house and was paying all these actors and crew to make videos and his mom told me it was all from YouTube." "I remember going to Shane's house for the shoot, this was years before we even became friends and made our own videos together, but I was like 'What do you do?' straight up," she said. They said they first met when they were cast as a stripper in one of his early YouTube videos. Paytas told Insider they owed a lot of their success on YouTube to Shane Dawson. They told Insider the last 14 years have been carved out by always wanting "to be known." They now identify as non-binary and use they/them pronouns. For over a decade Paytas has posted Mukbangs, extremely emotional personal vlogs from their kitchen floor, and gotten into more public feuds than maybe any other influencer - they've battled David Dobrik, Ethan Klein, and Charli D'Amelio, to name a few. According to EDHREC, each of these creatures appear in about 40% of Sek'Kuar decks. Grim Haruspex and Harvester of Souls both give us draw power to go with our creatures dying. While there are not that many cards that benefit from having nontoken creatures die, we do get redundancy in the effects. If our deck list is geared towards taking advantage of nontoken creatures from the beginning, we can start to include other cards without making sacrifices. The first and most obvious is looking at other cards that benefit from nontoken creatures dying. This can take us in two different directions. A Nontoken AffairĪs we noted earlier, Sek'Kuar's ability specifically requires that nontoken creatures die. ![]() However, the more I dug into Sek'Kuar, the more possibilities I found, and I began to get more and more excited about his potential. Every obvious option quickly got nixed because the interaction either produced a creature token, or the recursion element was anti-synergistic, such as Unearth. I guess everything can't work out how we want it.Īs I started brewing, I couldn't get over his limitations. Along with that, Sek'Kuar specifies that another creature has to die to get a Graveborn token, which means that our general won't replace himself with a token. ![]() I love creature tokens as a general rule, and seeing text that reads "nontoken" throws up a caution sign for me. This line is what has always discouraged me quickly from giving Sek'Kuar a closer look. "Whenever another nontoken creature you control dies." How can we use this guy to full potential? What am I missing?Īt first glance, there are a couple of limitations that stuck out to me that hindered my outlook. When I started re-reading his card lately, the wheels started turning in my mind. That's not his fault most Jund commanders haven't interested me. I personally didn't really give Sek'kuar a hard look until recently. Looking at those legends, it's easy to see how he struggled in his own weight class. Then, when he was reprinted he had to stand against Prossh, Skyraider of Kher. In Coldsnap, our orc general had to compete with the likes of Zur the Enchanter, Arcum Dagsson, and even Darien, King of Kjeldor. Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeperįirst appearing in Coldsnap and then again in Commander 2013, Sek'kuar has always competed with other more obviously powerful commanders. Ladies and gentlemen, with a face only a mother could love, meet Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper! Coming in as only the 5th most played Jund commander, our red, green, and black Orc Shaman was probably beginning to think he was permanently left out in the cold. Along with this change, our newest underdog is going to explore a color yet to be seen in the series: black. I'm sorry to have misled you with my articles' bias. To those who don't know me personally, blue actually isn't my favorite color. The bell has rung, and we're back in the ring with this installment of the Underdog's Corner! One thing I noticed after the first three articles is that all the commanders so far contained blue. Each article makes the argument for a single commander that deserves more play, as well as highlighting key cards and synergies. This article is Round 4 of the Underdog’s Corner, a series spotlighting various lesser-used commanders and their place in the format. ![]() To do this, enter Settings and go to Applications and notifications.
